3M 79 or Scotch® 79 Standard Glass Cloth Tape has an electrical grade, acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that gives the tape a high temperature resistance of 150°C. This self adhesive tape is edge tear resistant, conformable and abrasion resistant with excellent absorption and high solvent resistance.
Tape 79 is perfect for transformer and motor applications, also used in coil wrapping.
